Overview

Diploma in Supervision - Level 3

This Diploma in Supervision at QLS Level 3 (USA Standards) has been formulated to help the interested learners master everything about supervision to get into or make substantial progress within the supervisory industry. All the relevant information, facts, principles and procedures of a supervisory job role will be presented in abundance to help you supervise people effectively. No matter which industry you plan to supervise in, the Supervision course is all the recognition you need to manifest your knowledge and skills in efficient supervision.

The Supervision course will enlighten you about the roles, responsibilities and duties of a supervisor in various industries. Although the supervisor is the main person in charge of motivating and directing his/her subordinates to get things done, he/she should also be sufficiently motivated to carry about their duties. Therefore, the Supervision course has taken the responsibility of helping you develop your own motivational skills, followed by modules that will improve your communication skills, team organising skills, leadership skills, team building skills and many other skills that are essential for a good supervisor.

The Supervision course is also a wonderful opportunity for you to learn about conflict management and management of agreement within an organisation. By the end of the Supervision course, you will possess all the relevant expertise and skills to make substantial progress in the corporate world.

The Quality Licence Scheme, endorses high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes. This means that Imperial Learning Limited* has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organisation and the Supervision courses it offers, meet defined quality criteria. The completion of the Supervision course alone does not lead to a regulated qualification but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained. The Learner Unit Summary may be used as evidence towards Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in this subject. To this end the learning outcomes of the Supervision course have been benchmarked at Level 3 against level descriptors published by Quality Licence Scheme, to indicate the depth of study and level of demand/complexity involved in successful completion by the learner.

The Supervision course itself has been designed by Imperial Learning Limited* to meet specific learners’ and/or employers’ requirements which cannot be satisfied through current qualifications. Quality Licence Scheme endorsement involves robust and rigorous quality audits by external auditors to ensure quality is continually met. A review of courses is carried out as part of the endorsement process.

The Supervision course has been endorsed by the Quality Licence Scheme for its high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes. This course is not regulated by Ofqual and is not an accredited qualification. We will be able to advise you on any further recognition, for example progression routes into further and/or higher education. FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
